He became a trainee at Guillaume Tell (a top recording French studio) where he met Bruce Keen who was the house engineer. Together they released their first EP on a small French label, followed by two EPs and their first underground hit “Ailleurs” featuring Roussia on vocals. David also released a few tracks with DJ Armand on Aspro, Obsession and on Rhythmic.


By the end of ’95 he was working on a solo project on Basemetic and DJing in venues in France, the Netherlands, Germany and Israel.
In ’96 he started a few successful labels with Bruce Keen, such as Pinacolada, Sunshine Funk, and Sunshine Groove where they released many EPs including “Cassita La Foule” (which was used worldwide for a Perrier advertising campaign), “Lemon”, “the rise of Funkaticus” and more…

From ‘97 to 2000 David also had his own weekly radio show on French national station Radio Nova.


In ’99 he released “Music Makes Me Dance” with Hip Hop grandfather Dee Nasty which became the anthem for the 1999 Techno Parade. He also engineered and mixed Dee Nasty’s album “Nastyness”.


David moved to Amsterdam in 2000 for a couple of years and played regularly in Westergasfabriek, Club More, Escape, whilst working on his first album “The Cosmic Kid” which he recorded in Paris with Bruce Keen.


Since then David has been playing music all around the world and is now settled in Koh Phan Gan (Thailand) where he has a residency in “Guy’s Bar” and at the Full Moon Party.
